  Academy clock up another home win

Wick Academy 5 – Lossiemouth 2
Wick Academy took the lead in 9th minute against Lossiemouth when Gary Weir fired the ball past Errol Watson. The second came nine minutes later when Lukasz Geruzel netted with a powerful header from a corner. Richard Macadie added a third when he reacted quickest to a Stevie Cunningham shot that came back off the bar. Lossiemouth gave themselves a lifeline when Ryan Farquhar netted just before halftime. Lossie added a second midway through the second half when a Callum Dunbar shot was deflected. Alan Farquhar scored his first goal for the Scorries to restore their two goal advantage before Macadie added a fifth to make sure of the points.
Brora Rangers 6 – Fort William 1. Brora continued their winning start to the league after being giving an early scare from Fort William when Gary Farquhar netted after five minutes. Brora got back on level terms thanks to Steven Mackay before youngster Ryan Ross gave Brora the lead. Mackay added a second from a rebound before completing his hat-trick after 37 minutes. Ross Tokely added a fifth before halftime with a looping header and Ritchie Hart completed the scoring in the second half.

Cove Rangers 3 – Forres Mechanics 2
Forres took the lead away to Cove after only four minutes when Craig McGovern fired home. Simon Allan then missed a penalty for the visitors when his effort came back off the post. Cove equalised when Barrie Stephen fired home but McGovern put Forres back ahead after he met Allan's cross. Cove equalised for the second time on 33 minutes when Stirling Smith fired home and four minutes later Ryan Stott scored what turned out to be the winning goal for the reigning champions.
Formartine United 3 – Rothes 0. Formartine striker Cammy Keith maintained his great start to the season when he opened the scoring two minutes before halftime when he poked the ball home. Just a minute later and Rothes conceded a second, Daniel Park rounded the keeper slotting into an empty net. Midway through the second half Paul Napier added a third and final goal of the game to give Formartine a 3-0 win.

Clachnacuddin 0 – Deveronvale 2
Deveronvale got the better of Clachnacuddin in Inverness with two second half goals; the first goal came from the penalty spot which Martin Charlesworth converted. Vale made sure of the points with five minutes remaining when Bob Morrice got on the end of a corner to net.
Buckie Thistle 2 – Inverurie Locos 1. Buckie Thistle came from behind to defeat Inverurie at Victoria Park. Locos took the lead on 27 minutes when Neil Gauld provided a ball from the left for Martin Bavidge to net from 12 yards. Buckie levelled six minutes before halftime when Nikki Smith set up Neil Davidson to net after a goalmouth scramble. Buckie scored the winner when Aaron Conway's cross found Donnie Munro whose shot on the turn found the net through the hands of the keeper.

Huntly 2 – Turriff United 2
Huntly took an early lead at home to Turriff when Sam McKenzie netted a header from a Neale Davidson free kick. Turriff levelled the scores when Stuart Cumming netted with a powerful header. McKenzie fired Huntly back in front when he fired home from Davidson's corner. With 15 minutes left Turriff equalised again to ensure a share of the points, the Huntly defence failed to clear their lines and Gary Harris netted.
Nairn County 3 – Strathspey Thistle 1. Nairn took the lead after half an hour against Strathspey when Connor Gethins headed home from 6 yards. A couple of minutes later and it was 2-0, Stuart Leslie got the goal when he headed home, Nairn added a third before halftime when Gregg Main smashed the ball home. Strathspey scored a consolation four minutes after halftime when Mark MacKernie scored with a free-kick. Nairn finished the game with 10 men when their keeper was sent off but Strathspey could not add any further goals.

Fraserburgh 4 – Keith 0
Fraserburgh took the lead after five minutes at home to Keith, Willie West got on the end of a cross to score with a half volley. Fraserburgh added two quick goals after halftime, Scott Barbour reacted quickest to net a rebound, West then added a second when netted at the back post. Barbour added his second the Broch's fourth late on to complete the misery for Keith.

 
There were two mid-week games played on the 5th Oct. Rothes lost 2-1 to visitors Huntly and Forres Mechanics beat Lossiemouth 2-0.
