Gordon Connelly was forced into shuffling the pack today.
Sam Mackay sat out the first of his two game suspension. Grant Steven was not
fit following the knock he took last Saturday against Lossiemouth and both Danny
Mackay and Alan Farquhar were unavailable. Andrew Hardwick and James Maclean
made the starting eleven.
Neither side could find the net as they played out a 0-0
drawn, Academy's first scoreless drawn since playing Fraserburgh at Harmsworth
Park in November 2015.
The home side didn't have an effort during the entire match that troubled
Academy keeper Sean McCarthy.
John Campbell in the Clach goal had one good save to deny
Steven Anderson who produced a neat turn before getting his shot on target.
James MacLean also had a chance to snatch the points but his
effort from 20 yards sailed over the cross bar.
