Turriff United 2 – Wick Academy 1 – Wick
Academy suffered a late blow in their first away game of the season against
Turriff. The Scorries were down to 9 men but took the lead in the 72nd minute
when Gary Weir finished off a sweeping move. Cammy Bowden equalised for Turriff
in the 89th minute with a headed finish before Darren Mackie broke Academy
hearts with a scuffed half-volley in the 92nd minute. 

Buckie Thistle 4 – Clachnacuddin 1
Daniel McLennan gave Clach the lead away to Buckie but Buckie equalised just
before half-time when Andrej Kleczkowski scored his first goal for Buckie.
Kleczkowski then dummied a pass which allowed Chris Angus to put Buckie ahead.
Angus added his second of the game before Kleczkowski rounded off the scoring
by also adding his second.

Cove Rangers 3 – Forres Mechanics 1
Jamie Watt gave Cove the lead at home to Forres from the penalty spot in the
40th minute before adding a second half way through the second half before
Jonny Smith added a third. Duncan Jones pulled one back for Cove with a
free-kick from 25 yards. 

Deveronvale 0 – Brora Rangers 5
Champions Brora continued their fine start to the season scoring five without
reply away to Deveronvale. Steven Mackay gave Brora an early lead with a header
from a Zander Sutherland cross. Scott Graham added a second in the 27th minute
before Sutherland got his name on the score sheet in the 37th minute, Mackay
added two quick fire goals in the 39th and 42nd minute to seal an emphatic win
for Brora.

Formartine United 4 – Rothes 0
Formartine took all three points at home to Rothes and opened the scoring in
the 14th minute when Cammy Keith netted a rebound. Rothes equalised when Callum
McIntosh netted from outside the box. Two goals either side of half-time for
Formartine from Paul Napier and Sam French put Formartine on easy-street. Keith
completed the scoring in the 68th minute. 

Fraserburgh 2 – Nairn County 1
Peter Bruce fired Fraserburgh into a second minute lead at home to Nairn. The
visitors equalised in the 5th minute thanks to Robbie Duncanson but it was the
home side who grabbed all three points in the 69th minute when John Chalmers
netted from the spot.

Huntly 2 – Lossiemouth 5
Grant Mitchell gave Lossiemouth the lead away to Huntly in the 5th minute
before Huntly equalised on the half hour through Bruce Raffell. Kevin Flett put
Lossiemouth back in the lead just before half-time from the penalty spot.
Huntly equalised through David Booth but Lossiemouth went back in front with a
fine finish from Darren Bailey. Scott Dunn added a fourth before Scott Miller
completed the scoring for Lossiemouth. 

Inverurie Locos 3 – Strathspey Thistle 2 – Josh
Peters gave Strathspey the lead in the 9th minute away to Inverurie when he
lifted the ball over the keeper. Dean Donaldson equalised the 18th minute with
a shot across the keeper. Jordan Leyden put Inverurie ahead before half-time
when he curled the ball past the keeper. Peters equalised for Strathspey with
20 minutes remaining but Inverurie managed to grab a late winner when Andy
Hunter netted from a rebound.

Keith 1 – Fort William 0
Fraser Strachan scored in the only goal of the game for Keith against Fort
William when he headed home a free-kick in the 85th minute.
