Weir in eight-some reel as he bags all of the goals

Wick
Academy 8 – Fort William 1

Gary
Weir scored all eight goals as Wick Academy got back to winning ways against
Fort William. The first goal came after 31 minutes when Weir netted from 12
yards. Fort William equalised when Keith Millar netted from 20 yards. Weir put
the scorries back into the lead in the 37th minute when he netted from Davie
Allan's cross. Weir got his hat-trick just after half time when he got on the
end of a corner. It was four after 51 minutes when Weir reacted quickest after
a Stevie Cunningham effort came back off the bar. In 57 minutes Academy went
nap when Weir turned in the 6 yard box and fired home. Weir's double hat-trick
came from a perfect free kick that dipped in under the bar. Weir made it 7 when
he rounded the keeper to net from tight angle and in the final minute he got
his 8th with another free kick.

Fraserburgh
1 – Turriff United 0

Ten
men Fraserburgh held on to beat Turriff thanks to an early goal from Scott
Barbour. The goal came in the 10th minute when Barbour was on hand to complete
a great counter attacking move. John Chalmers was shown a straight red card
three minutes after half time but Turriff could not break down the Broch who
claimed an important three points.

Forres
Mechanics 3 – Keith 1

Kyle
Scott got Forres off to the perfect start at home to Keith when he netted in
the first minute firing the ball past the keeper. Stuart Soane made it 2-0 six
minutes before the break when he nipped in to head home. Keith pulled one back
through Callum Dingwall but Lee Fraser made sure of the three points with
minutes to go when he capitalised on a Zander Jack error.

Clachnacuddin
1 – Huntly 2

Huntly
took an early lead away to Clach when Andrzej Kleczkowski scored with a header
form a looping cross. Just after the half hour mark a Sean Ellis shot deflected
off Craig Dorrat to level the scores. Kleczkowski netted his and Huntly's
second midway through the second half with a low effort from 18 yards.
Kleczkowski had the chance to complete his hat-trick from the spot but the
keeper saved his effort.

Cove
Rangers 4 – Strathspey Thistle 2

Ryan
Stott volleyed Cove into a 7th minute lead at home to Strathspey. Against the
run of play Strathspey equalised when Josh Peters rounded the keeper to score
into the empty net. Just seconds later and Martin Johnston put Cove back in
front when he scored a header from the penalty spot. Early in the second half
Cove had a three goal lead when Jack Harkness scored with a diving header from
a short corner. Stott sealed the win when he was set up by Johnston. Strathspey
managed to add a second consolation goal when Mateusz Bobrowski netted with a
low drive.

Lossiemouth
1 – Inverurie Locos 4

Lossiemouth
managed to keep out Inverurie for 61 minutes before Dean Donaldson broke the
deadlock. Six minutes later Lossie were level when Callum Dunbar netted a fine
solo effort. In the 80th minute Loco's retook the lead when Kieran Adams headed
home. Just a minute later Martin Bavidge added a third and then a four minutes
from time Broadhurst completed the scoring.

Nairn
County 4 – Formartine United 1

Nairn
beat Formartine by 4 goals to 1 and opened the scoring in the 9th minute thanks
to Robbie Duncanson firing home. Midway through the first half Nairn were 2-0
up. Adam Naismith set up the lethal Conor Gethins who steadied himself before
scoring. After 58 minutes Cammy Keith pulled a goal back for Formartine netting
from 12 yards. Ten minutes later Stuart Leslie set up Gethins who netted from 6
yards to make it 3-0 to the hosts. With six minutes to go Gethins set up Leslie
who had the simple task of rolling the ball into an empty net. 

Buckie
Thistle 2 – Rothes 2

Buckie
had a great chance to take open the scoring at home to Rothes but Lewis
MacKinnon hit the bar with his penalty. Buckie did however take the lead in the
36th minute when Iain Macrae volleyed home. Rothes scored two quick goals
before halftime to give them the lead. The first came when Liam Forbes powered
home a header, Ben Stewart then fired home the second to give Rothes the lead.
MacKinnon atoned for his penalty miss with a superb goal 2 minutes from time to
a grab a point for Buckie.

Brora Rangers 3 – Deveronvale 0
Zander
Sutherland gave Brora a first minute lead at home to Deveronvale when he got onto
the end of Ritchie Hart's free kick. Sutherland added a second after 32 minutes
finishing past the keeper after some good footwork. Martin Charlesworth won the
Vale a penalty but he saw his effort saved by the keeper. Right on halftime
Ross Tokely netted the third and final goal with a header.
