5 minutes before the half time
break Brora come close to doubling their advantage. Hart fired in a corner from
the left and Sam Mackay headed it back to him. He squared it to Stuart Golabek and he smoked a 25 yard shot on target that
More got 2 hands on for another fine save, tipping it onto the cross bar and
then collecting when it fell.
A minute later Stevie Cunningham
played Davie Allan in behind the Brora defence. Ridgers came and narrowed the
angle and Allan's shot whistled across the face of goal and just past the post.
In the last attack of the half
Brora worked the ball up-field and a deep cross to the back post saw Andrew
Greig unmarked and his looping header across goal bounced off the post before
being cleared.

In the first attack of the second half Zander Sutherland
laid a pass to Golabek who went one-on-one with More who came and narrowed the
angle and Golabek smashed his shot just past the near post.
Academy were next to have a crack when Allan drove at the
Brora defence before playing in Macadie but under pressure Macadie screwed his
shot well wide of target.
On 53 minutes Academy had a great chance to level the
scores. Cunningham pushed up the right flank and played the ball up to Sam
Mackay. Mackay drove on and cut the ball back across to Cunningham who took a
fist tome shot from 25 yards out that had Ridgers beat bit the ball smashed
back off the post.
On 56 minutes Martin McLean was booked for a tackle on
Allan. Cunningham fired the free-kick into the box for Craig Shearer to rise the highest and head
home.

3 minutes later and Academy ride
their luck. Shaun Sinclair gave the ball away in the middle of the park to
Zander Sutherland. He slid a pass to Steven Mackay who's shot was blocked by
More. The ball bounced off Michal Steven and into the net but the linesman had
his flag up for off-side.
Weir had an attempt then over
the top of the bar before a corner was punched out by Ridgers as far as
Macadie. Ridgers again punched Macadie's cross clear and the ball fell to
Michael Steven who's shot locked goal-bound but Tokley cleared it off the line.
2 minutes from full-time the
home side scored the winner. Mclean set up Steven Mackay and from 22 yards he
fired an unstoppable rising shot into the top right hand corner of the net giving
More no chance.

Academy couldn't muster a late
winner so it's Brora who go into the hat for the next round.
