Kevin Tindal makes a change at the start of the second half
with Dean Lawrie coming on for Stirling Smith.
With 7 minutes of the second half played Academy are denied
a stone-wall penalty. Davie Allan worked his way into the box and just as he
was about to pull the trigger a defender took the legs from him, but despite
the protests from the Academy players referee Morag Pirie was having none of it
and waved play on.
Academy have started the better but the home side take the
lead just before the hour mark with a really poor goal from our point of view. The
ball is played up the right flank and is crossed into the box. Alan Farquhar
rose to challenge with Connor Scully. Michael Gray came out to try to clear but
the ball came off the back of Scully's head and into the net from 12 yards out.

The home side score another within the space of 3 minutes.
They broke down the left flank before the ball was delivered square for Martin
Johnston and he slotted home inside Gray's right hand post.

Academy break up-field and in a mad scramble in the Cove box
Michael Steven had a shot at the back post that was cleared off the line by
Dean Lawrie with keeper McKenzie beaten.
Barry Wilson makes a double change with Lukasz Geruzel and
James Pickles coming on for Craig Shearer and Richard Macadie.
Academy keep plugging and Davie Allan has a shot from 18
yards that drifted just wide of the left hand post.

The result lifts Cove above us in the table, but we are
still sitting second and now have Strathspey at home next weekend, with Cove
away to Buckie Thistle.
