Sam Mackay should have pulled one back for the Scorries shortly after the
re-start. Macadie dissected the Turriff defense with a piercing through ball
which Mackay ran onto. He went one-on-one with keeper Pennet but took a heavy
touch and Pennet snuffed out the danger.

Former Deveronvale man Michael Ralton put the game beyond doubt when he
scored Turra's third in the 56th minute. The goal came from a corner that Mark
Cowie fired at goal. More saved but spilled the ball and Ralton pounced and smashed
the ball home from point-blank range.

More redeemed himself in the next attack with the save of the day when he
went air-born and managed to save a Bowden header that was heading for the top
corner of the net.

Richard Macadie notched up his 14th goal in 18 league appearances when he
managed to pull one back with 11 minutes left to play with an excellently
executed free-kick, but it was little too late and Turriff took the spoils.

With results around Academy going the wrong way we slip down a place in the
table to 15th, and now face a tough tie to Keith next weekend, who top the
table today after they beat Inverurie 5-1, and Buckie were held to a 1-1 draw
against Forres Mechanics.
