With 5 minutes of the second half played Lossie manage to
pull a goal back. Michael Smith played a long ball over the top of the Academy
defence. Sean McIntosh ran onto it in the Academy box and he was fouled by
Stewart Ross. Referee Watt pointed to the spot, and Scott Matheson converted
the spot-kick low to Mores left hand corner.

It doesn't take the Scorries long to re-gain their 2 goal
advantage. Academy are awarded a free kick 20 yards from the Lossie goal. Stewart
Ross rolled the ball to Gary Manson and he smashed a shot on target that took a
flick off a Lossie defender and flew into the net past keeper McConnachie.

With 65 minutes on the clock Academy extend their lead.
Cunningham drove down the right wing and crossed to Weir who got a shot off on
target. Keeper McConnachie saved it but couldn't hold the ball and Bryan
McKiddie pounced to stick the ball home from close range.

77 minutes played and the Coasters pull a goal back. They
are awarded a soft free-kick on the left. Matheson swung it in to the Academy box and Craig
Donaldson was first to the ball and headed home.

Academy go nap when new signing Michael Steven cut across the
edge of the Lossie box and fired a shot on target. Keeper McConnachie parried
it out and the ball landed at Gary Weir's feet and he side-footed home from 12
yards out.
