At the start of the second half Academy are forced to make a
change with Craig Shearer coming off injured, and Bryan McKiddie replacing him.
4 minutes after the restart and Academy almost level the
scores. Martin Gunn played Richard Macadie through to the edge of the box.
Macadie chips Thomson but he manages to get a hand to the ball and tips it onto
the cross-bar.
Broch extend their lead on the hour from another corner
kick. This time Neil Main heads home past More at the near post.

68 minutes played and Academy make another change, Neill Traill coming on for Martin Gunn.
With 6 minutes left Academy try the final throw of the dice taking Martin Sinclair on for Gary Weir.
Academy are unable to find the net, and the game ends 2 – 0 with the Broch cross-bar twice denying the Scorries.
