Wick Academy FC Just kicked off at Harlaw park on a glorious sunny day. Academy are without Craig Shearer and Gary Farquhar. Today’s match report is being relayed back to us by our match reporters Andrew and Glenn, who are both 8 years old.
Wick get off to a bad start as within 2 minutes Kenny Coull Scores for the Locos. The ball is played over the top of the Wick defence and Kenny is on-hand to slot home.

Wick have probed at the Inverurie defence without much threat on goal so far. Macadie and Gunn both having long-range shots that were wide of target.
29 minutes and Inverurie double their lead. Nicky Gordon getting their second goal of the afternoon. The ball is played over the top of the Wick defence to Gordon on the corner of the 6 yard box and he volleys home past More.

Wick created a great chance to get back into the game in the 40th minute. Macadie set David Cowie off up the right wing. Cowie cut inside and passed the ball to Weir inside the Locos penalty box. Weir squared to Andrew MacLeod and he pulled out a wonder save from veteran keeper Jim Calder.

Academy make a change with Stewart Sinclair coming off for Shane Sutherland.
53 mins and Wick get right back into the game Gary Manson plays the ball up the left wing to Weir and he slots the ball to Macadie who beats the off-side trap. Macadie runs in one-on-one with Calder and shoots, but Calder makes another good save. Shane Sutherland is however on-hand to pick-up the re-bound and he scores from close range.

Inverurie go straight on the attack from the re-start and pump a ball into the Academy box that is only cleared to the edge of the box, where Craig Ross hits a first-time volley and it sneaks in off the inside of the post.

On the hour mark Craig Ross gets his second goal of the afternoon. A cross into the Academy box from the right is headed out by Shaun Sinclair. Ross takes it on his chest and fires home on the volley from 20 yards out.

Wick have had no more real chance of any note since then.
91 minutes and Scott Buchan punted a ball into the Academy box where Jamie Watt is un-marked and he slotted home from 12 yards.

2 minutes later David Cowie crosses to Richard Macadie at the edge of the Locos box and he fired home a right foot shot low under keeper Calder.
