Wick Academy F.C. has this week regretfully accepted the resignation of 1st team Manager, Peter Budge, effective following the home tie against Fraserburgh on the 10th of February 2007.
Peter leaves Academy to take up a new position with the SFA as football development officer at the Highland Football Academy.
Wick Academy are disappointed in losing Peters services, but recognise that this is a great opportunity for him.
Peter has been manager since the start of season 2006/07 and has been working hard to develop the team both on and off the field, with the introduction of youth and experience beginning to pay dividends.
Wick Academy would like to pay tribute to Peter for his efforts and wish him, Moira and family every success for the future.
No decision regarding his replacement has been made at this time and Wick Academy FC will consider all options in the New Year.
