December 2006 – Team and Club News
Saturday 30th December:
A free weekend for Academy, so no game today. All eyes therefore on the teams around us in the league, namely; Fort William, Lossiemouth, Forres and Brora.

Saturday 24th December:
News today for yet another reason for celebration in the Academy camp, as club captain Martin Gunn became a dad. Baby daughter, Joanna Margaret, arrived about 3:00am this morning, and both Jill and baby are reported to be fine. Congratulations to both Jill and Martin from everyone at the club.
Saturday 16th December:
December has been a quiet month for team news so far, as Academy have been 3 weeks without a game. The boys are back in action today though with a trip down the road to last years league champions Deveronvale. Academy have quite a few key players missing today, between injuries and other commitments. Among those missing are: David Mowat, Mark Makhouli, Gary Manson, Alex Lamb and captain Martin Gunn. The 12th of February 2000 was the last time Academy managed to take points from the Vale, beating them that day 3-0 at the Harmsworth Park. Lets hope the boys can come home with a result today.
