Wick Academy FC are delighted to announce the return of Alan
Farquhar as Secretary after the club approached him after the stepping down of
outgoing Secretary Jan Robertson. Club Chairman James Innes said "everyone at
the club is delighted Alan has come back on board and will take up the post
with immediate effect. Alan knows the role inside out  from his previous time as Secretary and was a
very obvious choice, the Club would like to thank Jan for all her hard work she
has done over the past 3 years and we are delighted she remains a very active
committee member" he added "Jan reached her decision due to living in
Elgin which was making things tricky for her to commit as much time as she
would like to the role, along with the obvious geographical issue".

Alan Farquhar thanked the club for giving him the
opportunity to return to the club after a spell away. Alan said "it's an honour
to be given this opportunity to serve a club that means so much to me and my
family and I promise to do my very best for the Club and the fans for as long
as I'm in this privileged position. I'm looking forward to the new SHFL
season". Alan went onto thank Jan for the smooth transition in which she
handed over the reigns and for all she has done for the club in her role as Secretary.

In other committee news, Pat Miller and Dennis Manson have
also been elected onto the Executive Committee of the Club.
