Academy came out fighting for the second half and on 67
minutes Davie Allan hit the burners shaking off two markers to get onto the end
of a Gary Manson pass, and he powered home passed Malin from just inside the
box.

Academy hunted for the equaliser and Anderson again came
close with a header from a Marc MacGregor cross.
At the other end Craig Campbell crossed to Sutherland and he
was unlucky not to record his second goal of the game as his shot hit the
woodwork.
In the final minutes the tension built as Academy almost
grabbed a leveller. Manson whipped a free kick into the box and Michael Steven
got his header on target but Malin was on hand to gather.
In the last action of the game McCarthy parried away a Campbell
shot and Brora ran down the clock to claim all three points.
