Richard Macadie had a shot that sliced off his boot and went
just wide of target before Sam Mackay came close with a free-kick that only
just flew over the intersection of post and cross-bar as Academy looked to
increase their advantage.

Turriff continued to struggle to make any chances of note
with the Academy back line repelling them on almost every occasion they advance
forward.

The nearest they really came was from a powerful 25 yard
drive from Robert Allan that went straight into the arms of McCarthy.

Richard Macadie set up a good chance for Davie Allan but
his attempt flashed just passed the outside of the post.

Having made all of their substitutions Turriff finished the
final minutes with only 10 men when Andrew Smith picked up an injury and couldn't
continue.
