Ross sets off on epic charity challenge

19-year-old Ross Mackay from Lybster has set himself an epic challenge of
visiting 72 football stadiums across Scotland in the space of just 27 hours to
raise to raise thousands of pounds for charities which have helped him cope
with diabetes for the last 10 years, namely Diabetes UK and Archie Highland.

Ever since Ross was a child he has suffered from type one diabetes and has
had to make regular trips to hospital in Inverness to help him cope with the
condition.

Ross started his trip this morning at Harmsworth Park and travelling south
he will visit every Highland League, Lowland League and SPFL ground in the
country along with BT Murrayfield Stadium. His final destination will be Stair
Park, home of Stranraer FC, who play in SPFL League One.
