Wick created the first chance of the second half in the 58th
minute when Steven Harrison took the ball down in the box but Joe Malin was quick
off his line and blocked the ball for a corner. From the corner Brora broke up
the park and found themselves in a 2v1 situation, Greeg played in Sutherland
but McCarthy came out and saved the ball with his feet.
Academy pulled a goal
back in the 64th minute when Macadie picked up a poor kick out from
Malin and Macadie released David Allan down the right wing, Allan's cross found
Gary Weir whose shot was blocked but the rebound found James Pickles and he
fired home. The away side nearly levelled five minutes later but Sam Mackay's
free kick forced a fine save from Malin. Brora made sure of the points in the
78th minute when Greig played Sutherland in down the left wing and
Sutherland got to the goal line and cut the ball back to Gillespie and he
tapped the ball home from six yards out.
