Into the second half and Davie Allan drove into the left
side of the box and sent a low cross into the box which ran to the back post
for Richard Macadie to run onto. From a tight angle he cut it across goal and
the Whitehill attempted clearance bounded off a defender and went behind for a
corner.

Both keepers had comfortable saves, McCarthy holding a Sean
Wringe shot, and at the top of the park Bryan Young saved another good header
from Weir at the foot of his post.

Two minutes into injury time and Grant Campbell fired a
perfect high pass up-field for Steven Anderson. He took the ball on his chest,
got inside his marker Dale O'Hare and hammer a left foot half-volley into the
net. The Harmsworth Roar must have been heard all over the time as the home
fans erupted with joy.

So game over, not a hope! Whitehill set up a final attack
and Anthony Muir's shot was blocked by McCarthy but the rebound fell to Andrew
Martin
who was on it in a flash and he stuck home the equalizer from six yards
out.

The two teams will meet in the replay at Ferguson Park,
Rosewell next Saturday.
