18 minutes after the re-start Academy doubled their lead.
Allan Farquhar played a long ball up-field to Davie Allan who managed to beat
the off-side trap and he screamed forward with his blistering pace to go
one-on-one with keeper Stuart Knight. Knight came to meet Allan but the Academy
striker kept his cool and slotted the ball home 18 yards from goal.

As the game approached full time a melee kicked off when
Ross MacPherson sliced the feet from under Davie Allan and Graeme Grant then
appeared to have a go at Allan as he was on the deck. After consulting with both his assistants
referee David Watt booked Graeme Grant and Steven Anderson.
Sean McCarthy was forced into his first save of the match with
4 minutes left on the clock, as he turned a Forres shot that came through a ruck
of players over the top of his crossbar.

So a clean sheet and a comfortable win the for the Scorries
and we now travel to Harlaw Park on Saturday to face Inverurie Locos, in what
is certain to be a stern test.
