Scorries back to winning ways in thriller against
Forres – 18th April 2015
Wick Academy 4 – Forres Mechanics 3 –
Ross Archibald gave Forres the lead in the second minute but Lukasz Geruzel
equalised for the scorries. David Allan scored a fantastic individual goal to
put Wick ahead before Geruzel added his second. Lee Fraser pulled one back
before Geruzel completed his hatrick. Forres added a third through Stuart Soane
but the Scorries held on for a great win.
Buckie Thistle 2 – Huntly 0 –
Connor Brian scored an own goal in the 7th minute to give Buckie the lead at
home to Huntly before Chris Angus completed the scoring early in the second
half.
Clachnacuddin 2 – Strathspey Thistle 0 –
Clach opened the scoring in the 66th minute at home to Strathspey when Martin
Callum got in behind the defence to net. Neil Macdonald made sure of the points
in the 85th minute with a powerful header.
Cove Rangers 4 – Fort William 0 –
Connor Scully gave Cove the lead at home to Fort William just before half time.
Jamie Watt added a second before Scully notched his second. Eric Watson rounded
off the scoring netting after a goalmouth scramble.
Formartine United 1 – Turriff United 2 –
Formartine took an early lead at home to Turriff when Stuart Anderson fired
home from the edge of the box. Artjoms Kuznecovs equalised with a powerful
header in the 32nd minute before Andrew MacAskill fired home the winner for
Turriff in the 72nd minute.
Fraserburgh 1 – Inverurie Locos 3 –
Martin Laing gave Inverurie the lead midway through the first half away to
Fraserburgh. Jordan Leyden added a second on the hour mark before grabbing his
second. Graham Johnston pulled one back with a 25 yard free kick.
Keith 0 – Deveronvale 0 –
Neither side could find the net in this encounter and it ended with honours
even.
Lossiemouth 2 – Nairn County 1 –
Lossiemouth opened the scoring at home to Nairn in the 27th minute when Joao
Rodrigues netted with a header. Ryan Green added a second on the half hour mark
before Nairn pulled one back in the 56th minute through Sam Urquhart.
Rothes 0 – Brora Rangers 2 –
Steven Mackay gave Brora the lead in the 54th minute with a header away to
Rothes before Zander Sutherland added a second from the penalty spot.
