Honours even in cup final dress rehearsal – 4th April 2015
Wick Academy 1 – Cove Rangers 1 – In
the dress rehearsal for the Highland League Cup Final Connor Scully gave Cove
the lead at Harmsworth Park before Richard Macadie beat the offside trap to
grab a share of the spoils.
Brora Rangers 2 – Keith 0 –
Scott Graham gave Brora the lead just before half time and the same player
completed the scoring in the 80th minute.
Deveronvale 2 – Formartine United 2 –
Deveronvale took the lead at home to Formartine when Liam Forbes headed home a
cross. A Kyle Rae own-goal had Formartine back level before Graeme Roger scored
from the spot in the 57th minute before Cammy Keith scored a penalty in
stoppage time to grab a draw for Formartine.
Nairn County 1 – Forres Mechanics 2 –
Stuart Soane gave Forres the lead away to Nairn in the 55th minute before Sam
Urquhart equalised in the 60th minute. Craig McGovern grabbed the points for
Forres in the 84th minute with a close range header.
Strathspey Thistle 2 – Lossiemouth 5 –
Josh Peters gave Strathspey the lead at home to Lossiemouth in the 31st minute
before adding a 2nd in the 45th minute. Kevin Dugid pulled one back in first
half stoppage time before Ryan Green equalised in the 59th minute. Scott Miller
put Lossiemouth in front before further goals from Joao Rodrigues and Darren
bailey completed the scoring.
Turriff United 4 – Fort William 2 – Two
early goals from Andy MacAskill and Gary McGowan had Turriff on easy street at
home to Fort William but Willie Gemmell and Nick Stein equalised for Fort
before two goals in the last ten minutes from Jamie Beagrie and Nick Gray
sealed the points for Turriff.
