Brora win 1st North derby – 11th March 2015

Wick Academy 0 – Brora Rangers 1

In the
first Far North Derby of the season under the Harmsworth Park floodlights a
deflected goal from Dale Gillespie early in the second half was enough to
secure all three points for Brora. Academy had a chance to share the points but
Lukasz Geruzel's penalty kick was saved by Brora keeper Joe Malin.

Deveronvale 1 – Nairn County 7

Robbie
Duncanson gave Nairn an early lead from the penalty spot away to Deveronvale
before Sam Urquhart made it two with a header. Bradley Halsman made it three in
the 17th minute before Urquhart got his second in the 24th minute. Graeme Roger
pulled on back for Vale after a Stuart Leslie penalty had been saved but
further goals from John Cameron and Adam Naismith completed the scoring.

Formartine United 1 – Fraserburgh 1

A Steven
Davidson header four minutes before half time gave Fraserburgh the lead away to
Formartine but the home side equalised in the 75th when Stuart McKay set up
Cammy Keith to chip the keeper.

Inverurie Locos 1 – Turriff United 3

Andy
MacAskill set up Aaron McKenna to open the scoring for Turriff away to
Inverurie before Stuart Cumming headed a second just before half time.
Inverurie captain Neil McLean pulled one back just after the restart. Turriff
made sure of all three points when Gary McGowan held off several challenges to
net.

Keith 2 – Buckie Thistle 5

Kevin
Fraser gave Buckie an early lead away to Keith but the home side equalised six
minutes before half time thanks to Bruce Milne. Two quick fire goals from Chris
Angus had Buckie back in front but Robbie Collinson pulled one back. Drew
Copeland added a fourth before Lewis MacKinnon completed the scoring.

Strathspey Thistle 3 – Rothes 1

Strathspey
took the lead at home to Rothes in the minute when Gary Kerr netted. Brett
Mitchell equalised seven minutes later but Jordan Wardrope put the host back in
front just before halftime. Thomas Borthwick made sure of the points in the
71st minute when he volleyed home a Kerr cross.

The match
between Fort William and Forres Mechanics was postponed due to a waterlogged
pitch.
