Brora increase
their lead at top of the table – 28th Feb 2015
Brora Rangers 5 – Buckie Thistle 1 – Scott
Graham gave Brora the lead at home to Buckie in the 23rd minute when he rounded
the keeper. Andrew Greig added a second two minutes later with a low shot.
Shaun Wood pulled a goal back in the 35th minute but Steven Mackay added a
third just before half-time. Zander Sutherland made it 4-1 in the 55th minute
before Colin Williamson completed the scoring in the 90th minute.
Deveronvale 3 – Rothes 1 – Deveronvale took
the lead at home to Rothes in the 23rd minute when Graeme Rogers netted with a
low shot. Rodgers added a second in the 53rd minute before Rothes pulled one
back from the spot thanks to Stuart Hodge. Stuart Leslie made sure of the
points in the 63rd minute after being set up by Paul Sutherland.
Keith 3 – Huntly 2 – Matthew McDonald
gave Keith the lead at home to Huntly on the stroke of half-time. Stuart Massie
added a second in the 50th minute before Craig Cormack added a third. Adam
McNamee pulled one back for Huntly in the 75th minute before David Booth added
a second two minutes later from the penalty spot.
Strathspey Thistle 0 – Fraserburgh 3 – Grant Noble gave Fraserburgh a 29th minute
lead away to Strathspey before Graham Johnston added a second five minutes
later. Willie West completed the scoring in the 90th minute to score his 100th
goal for the Broch.
In the
Highland League Cup Wick Academy, Cove Rangers, Nairn County and Turriff United
all won to reach the semi-finals. Academy now face a home tie against Nairn
County on the 21st March.
