Academy beat Fort to maintain their great league

Wick Academy 3 – Fort William 0 –
Wick Academy grabbed all three points at home to Fort William. Richard Macadie
opened the scoring in the 25th minute, James Pickles added a second in the 65th
minute before Sam Mackay completed the scoring with 8 minutes to go.
Buckie Thistle 0 – Inverurie Loco 2 –
Ross Anderson put Inverurie in front in the 28th minute away to Buckie before
Neil McLean completed the scoring for Inverurie just before the hour mark.
Cove Rangers 3 – Deveronvale 0 –
Stuart Duff scored from 25 yards to give Cove the lead at home to Deveronvale
in the 9th minute. Daryl Nicol scored on the counter attack to double the lead
before Eric Watson completed the scoring four minutes from time.
Forres Mechanics 2 – Strathspey Thistle 1 –
Forres took the lead at home to Strathspey Thistle when Graham Fraser was well
placed to net with a header. Mark McKernie equalised from the penalty spot with
two minutes remaining but Stuart Soane grabbed all three points for Forres in
the 90th minute netting at the near post.
Fraserburgh 4 – Keith 1 –
Scott Barbour scored three penalties for Fraserburgh at home to Keith. The
first came in the 12th minute before he added a second in the 42nd minute. Just
moments later Stuart Massie pulled a goal back for Keith. Scott Fowlie added a
third on the hour before Barbour completed his hat-trick of penalties in the
84th minute.
Huntly 0 – Formartine United 6 –
Cammy Keith gave Formartine the lead away to Huntly before two goals just
before half-time from Graham Hay and Marek Madle had Formartine on easy-street.
Keith added his second early in the second half before Neil McVitie added a
fifth. Keith completed his hat-trick with 11 minutes remaining.
Rothes 1 – Turriff United 4 –
Gary McGowan gave Turriff a second minute lead at Rothes before Andy MacAskill
also netted. Joao Rodriques pulled one back for Rothes just before half-time.
MacAskill added a second before James Chalmers completed the scoring late on.

Cup – Brora through with win over Edinburgh City
Arbroath 2 – Nairn County 1 – In
the Scottish cup Paul McManus gave Arbroath the lead at home to Nairn before
Scott McBride added a second in the 66th minute. Sean Webb pulled one back for
Nairn in the 88th minute but Arbroath held on.
Edinburgh City 2 – Brora Rangers 3 – Ian
McFarland gave Edinburgh City the lead at home to Brora but Colin Williamson
equalised for the away side. Gavin Morrison put Brora in front midway through
the first half before Andrew Greig added a third just before half-time. John Dunn
pulled one back but Brora held on to progress into the next round.
