4 minutes before the half-time break Davie Allan conceded a
free-kick on the edge of the Academy box. Adam McNamee stepped up and took the
free-kick but his effort whistled over the top of the Academy cross-bar. A Neale Davidson shot was then deflected for a
corner as Huntly finished the half on the front foot.

From the restart Huntly carved out another chance. A long
ball punted up the right flank found substitute Sam Harrison who turned inside
Alan Farquhar but his left foot shot was high and wide of the Academy goal.
Academy scored their second goal of the game on 52 minutes.
The move started with Geruzel who picked the ball up just inside the Wick half.
He played a cross-field pass to Davie Allan who hit the burners, drove up the
right and into the Huntly box and squared across goal for Steven Anderson who
had a simple tap in. The goal was Anderson's 5th in the last 3
games.

2 minutes past the hour mark Huntly came close to pulling a
goal back. Neale Davidson delivered a good cross from the left and Callum Dunbar
got his head to the ball but it was deflected just wide for a corner.
Academy controlled the game to the end making their quota of
substitutes and take the 3 points back up the A9.
