Academy kept up their great run of league wins today comfortably
beating visitors Keith 4-0. It's the Scorries 6th straight League
win and their 3rd clean sheet in the space of a week.
Academy started the game at a great tempo and have several
great chances early-doors before Lukasz Geruzel carved his way through the
middle of the Keith defence to rifle home the opener. James Pickles doubled the
advantage on the half hour firing home from a tight angle and Richard Macadie
then converted from the penalty spot to put the Scorries in at half time with a
3 goal lead.
Keith played better in the second half as Academy dropped a
gear but the visitors rarely threatened Sean McCarthy's goal. Gary Weir came on
as a sub and wrapped things up with his 6th League goal of the
season in the dying minutes.
