Academy win at
Cove for 1st time in 10 years – 6th Sept 2014

Cove Rangers 1 – Wick Academy 3

Wick Academy took the lead
in the 34th minute away to Cove when stevie Cunningham drilled the ball home
from just inside the box. Davie Allan added a second in in the 55th minute
before Gary Weir added a third in the 84th minute. Jonny Smith pulled a goal
back for Cove in stoppage time with a header. 

Buckie Thistle 2 – Strathspey Thistle 2

Chris Angus gave Buckie the
lead at home to Strathspey when his shot just crept over the line. Angus added
his second minutes later before Connor McAuley pulled one back for Strathspey
just before half-time. Connor Aubrey got a deserved equaliser for Strathspey in
the second half to ensure a share of the spoils.

Deveronvale 0 – Forres Mechanics 2

The visitors opened the
scoring through Graham Fraser with only 19 minutes played. Dachi Khutsishvili
put the Can cans out of reach when he then converted from the spot after Connor
Rennie was sent off for holding back Kris Duncan in the box. 

Formartine United 4 – Lossiemouth 2

Cammy Keith gave Formartine
an early lead at home to Lossiemouth before Neil McVitie added a second after
20 minutes. Kevin Flett scored an own goal on the half hour mark before Stuart
Anderson scored just after the break to put Formartine four goals ahead. Darren
Bailey netted in the 68th minute before adding his second in the 83rd minute to
give Lossiemouth some hope.

Fraserburgh 2 – Brora Rangers 3

Scott Barbour gave
Fraserburgh the lead at home to Brora in the 12th minute from the spot but just
four minutes later Zander Sutherland equalised. Sutherland then put Brora in
front in the 58th minute. PA Bruce equalised for the Broch in the 78th minute
before Sutherland completed his hat-trick in the 86th minute to ensure Brora
grabbed all three points. 

Huntly 1 – Nairn County 3

Sam Urquhart got on the end
of a counter attack to sweep the ball home after half an hour to give Nairn the
lead away to Huntly. Gethins added a second five minutes later before Robbie
Duncanson added a third in the 40th minute. David Booth netted a consolation
with 8 minutes remaining.

Inverurie Locos 3 – Fort
William 0

Martin Bavidge gave Inverurie the lead at home to Fort William in
the 12th minute tapping home at the back post. Bavidge added his second after
24 minutes when he was in the right place to poke home. Neil Gauld completed
the scoring on the hour mark when he curled the ball home.

Keith 5 – Rothes 1

Matthew McDonald gave Keith
an 11th minute lead at home to Rothes before he got his second just before
half-time. In the 64th minute a Greig Smith shot hit a defender and flew past
the Rothes the keeper. Lewis Mackay pulled one back for Rothes in the 78th minute.
Michael Ewen added a fourth for Keith from the spot before Bruce Milne
completed the scoring in stoppage time.
