Late Macadie penalty seals the win for Academy – 30th

Wick Academy 3 – Fraserburgh 2
John Chalmers gave
Fraserburgh the lead from the penalty spot in the 20th minute away to Wick
Academy but two goals in a minute from Richard Macadie and David Allan gave
Academy the lead at half-time. Chalmers converted a second penalty to level the
scores before Macadie ensured all three points for the Scorries with a late penalty.
Brora Rangers 1 – Formartine United 1
Cammy Keith sent Joe Malin
the wrong way from the penalty spot to give Formartine the lead at half-time
time away to Brora. Brora grabbed a share of the points when Dale Gillespie got
on the end of a Steven Mackay cut back to net.
Clachnacuddin 1 – Deveronvale 1
Scott Henry headed into his
own net to give Clach the lead at home to Deveronvale in the 26th minute. Colin
Charlesworth grabbed a share of the points for Vale when he beat the offside
trap and coolly slotted past the keeper.
Forres Mechanics 6 – Huntly 0
Kris Duncan gave Forres a
first minute lead at home to Huntly before Dachi Khutsishvili made it two after
ten minutes. Kris Duncan added his second before Lee Fraser made it four. Sub
Ross Archibald added a quick fire double to cap an impressive win for Forres.
Fort William 1 – Turriff United 5
Three quick goals just
before half-time put Turriff on easy street away to Fort William. Robbie Allan
opened the scoring before Cammy Bowden made it two and Lewis Davidson made it
three. Nick Stein pulled a goal back for Fort before two quick goals from Craig
MacAskill ensured all three points for Turriff.
Lossiemouth 0 – Inverurie Locos 7
David Ross scored an eight
minute hat-trick for Inverurie away to Lossiemouth before grabbing a fourth
just before half-time. Dean Donaldson added a fifth before Martin Bavidge made
it six before Andrew Hunter completed the scoring.
Nairn County 6 – Keith 1
Conor Gethins opened the
scoring in the 24th minute before two goals in four minutes from Adam Naismith
and Sean Webb had Nairn in command at home to Keith. Gethins added a fourth
before Robbie Duncanson added a fifth. Gethins completed his hat-trick to make
it 6-0 before Stuart Massie scored a late consolation.
Rothes 1 – Buckie Thistle 3
Andrzej Kleczkowski gave
Buckie the lead in the 43rd minute away to Rothes but Rothes equalised just
before the hour thanks to Joao Rodriques. Donnie Munro put Buckie back in front
before Andy Low completed the scoring.
Strathspey Thistle 1 – Cove Rangers 6
Jamie
Lennox gave Cove the lead away to Strathspey but Mark McKernie levelled for
Strathspey before Jonny Smith put Cove back in front right on half-time. Two
quick goals from Blair Yule and Chris Clark had Cove well on top. Lennox got
his second before Jamie McAllister completed the scoring.
