Academy win by odd the goal in five against
Clach – 6th Aug

Wick Academy 3 – Clachnacuddin 2
Wick Academy grabbed their second home win of the season at home to Clach and
took the lead in the 21st minute when James Pickles netted with an indirect
free-kick. Ross Allan added a second in the 58th when he reacted quickest after
Gary Weir's shot was saved. Daniel McLennan pulled one back for Clach before
Ross Allan added a second. Andrew Skinner scored a consolation penalty in
stoppage time. 

Buckie Thistle 1 – Deveronvale 1
Martin Charlesworth gave Deveronvale the lead in their derby away to Buckie in
the 2nd minute but Buckie grabbed a share of the points in the 71st minute when
Andy Low who had only been on the park a minute netted.

Cove Rangers 3 – Turriff United 4
Cove raced into a three goal lead at home to Turriff thanks to goals from Jamie
McAllister, Daniel Park and Eric Watson. Turriff started an amazing comeback in
the 38th minute when Andrew MacAskill netted from the spot in the 38th minute.
Aaron McKenna pulled another back before a double from Nick Gray completed the
comeback for Turriff. 

Forres Mechanics 0 – Brora Rangers 4
Andrew Greig scored a goal on the counter attack in the 20th minute to give
Brora the lead away to Forres before an own goal from Craig McGovern put Brora
further ahead. Steven Mackay added two goals in the second half to make it a
comfortable night for Brora.

Fort William 1 – Strathspey Thistle 2
James McShane gave Strathspey the lead away to Fort William before the Fort
keeper Robin Harvey scored an own goal to put Strathspey in the driving seat.
Andrew Hardwick pulled one back for Fort but Strathspey managed to hold on and
grab all three points. 

Fraserburgh 4 – Huntly 2
Willie West gave Fraserburgh the lead at home to Huntly in the 11th minute but
Neale Davidson pulled one back for Huntly. Fraserburgh retook the lead thanks
to a Craig Dorrat own goal but Huntly were back on level terms less than a
minute later thanks to Ian Cruickshank. Ryan Cowie put Fraserburgh back in front
in the 34th minute before Russell McBride completed the scoring four minutes
later.

Keith 0 – Formartine United 1
Cammy Keith scored the only goal for Formartine away to his former side Keith
when he netted from the penalty spot in the 19th minute. 

Nairn County 2 – Inverurie Locos 3
Inverurie scored two goals in the space of a minute to take the lead away to
Nairn. Jordan Leyden scored the first before Andrew Hunter added a second.
Inverurie added a third in the 75th minute thanks to Ross Anderson. Nairn set
up a tense finish when Sean Webb pulled one back in the 84th minute before
Robbie Duncanson added second in the 92nd minute.

Rothes 3 – Lossiemouth

– Rothes got the better of Lossiemouth with a penalty deep
into stoppage time in a five goal thriller. Rothes opened the scoring in the
5th minute thanks to Joao Rodrigues, Rodrigues made it two before Shawn Scott
pulled one back. Jordan Main thought he had grabbed a point for Lossiemouth in
the 88th minute but Michael Dunn scored a penalty in stoppage time to grab the
points for Rothes.
