Rampant Locos inflict heavy defeat on Scorries
Inverurie Locos 7 – Wick Academy 0
Inverurie were rampant at home to Wick Academy and took the
lead in the third minute when Neil Gauld tapped home from a Jordan Leyden
cross. Gauld got his second in the 17th minute before Neil McLean
added a third moments later with a 40 yard free-kick. David Ross made it four
just before half-time. Ross Davidson made sure Inverurie went nap in the 52nd
minute before Andy Hunter made it six. Martin Bavidge completed the scoring in
stoppage time with a penalty.
Clachnacuddin 1 – Fraserburgh 1
Scott Graham gave Clach the lead in the 9th
minute at home to Fraserburgh when he headed home at the far post. Scott Barbour
levelled for Fraserburgh on the hour mark to ensure a share of the points.
Deveronvale 2 – Fort William 0
Deveronvale took the lead at home to Fort William in the 10th
minute when Ricky Wardrop netted from 16 yards. The Vale hit Fort William on
the break in the 33rd minute to grab a second goal, Craig Cowie
netted from 10 yards to complete the scoring.
Formartine United 2 – Cove Rangers 1
Formartine came out top in the battle of last season top two
and took the lead with just a minute played with Cammy Keith getting on the end
of a rebound to net. Jamie Lennox equalised for Cove in the 7th
minute firing past the keeper. Daniel Park scored what turned out to be the
winner in the 34th minute with a free-kick giving the keeper no
chance.
Huntly 0 – Brora Rangers 6
Zander Sutherland set up Ross Tokely to net after only 6
minutes away to Huntly. Steven Mackay made it 2-0 after 13 minutes before
Steven Ross added a third before half-time. Mackay added his second moments
into the second half before Sutherland made it 5 in the 56th minute,
Sutherland completed the scoring in the 61st minute with a
free-kick.
Nairn County 1 – Buckie Thistle 0
A moment of brilliance from Nairn centre forward Stuart
Leslie was enough to win the points for Nairn County. His goal came on the hour
mark when he fired home with a bullet header from an Adam Naismith cross.
Rothes 1 – Lossiemouth 1
Liam Archibald gave Lossiemouth the lead in the 53rd
minute when he got the better of the keeper when one on one. Rothes grabbed a
share of the spoils when Michael Dunn netted from the spot.
Strathspey Thistle 0 – Keith 1
Stuart Massie gave Keith the lead in the 39th
minute away to Strathspey from the penalty spot. Massie missed a second penalty
in the second half but Keith managed to hold on for the three points.
Turriff United 0 – Forres Mechanics 0
Turriff and Forres shared the points in a nil nil draw.
Turriff had the better of the chances the best of which fell to Jamie Beagrie
who saw his effort cleared off the line.
