First goal for Hughes seals the 3 points for the Scorries


Keith 0 – Wick Academy 1

Wick Academy grabbed all three points away to Keith with a
single goal enough to win the tie. A long kick out by the keeper was flicked on
by Lukasz Geruzel to Alan Hughes who hit the ball first time on the volley and
ball flew into the top corner.

Clachnacuddin 2 – Nairn County 1

Stuart Leslie gave Nairn the lead away to Clach when he
latched onto a Robbie Duncanson pass. Paul Brindle equalised for Clach before
scoring the winner to complete the comeback for the Inverness men.

Deveronvale 2 – Lossiemouth 0

Deveronvale took the lead in 41st minute when a
Colin Charlesworth free-kick took a deflection off the wall to wrong foot the
keeper. Philip Watt completed the scoring in the 83rd minute when he
headed home from close range.

Formartine United 1 – Fraserburgh 0

Formartine and Fraserburgh netted 15 goals between them
midweek but this game was settled by a single goal and it went the way of
Formartine. The goal came in the 58th minute when Craig McKeown
controlled a free-kick before netting.

Huntly 0 – Buckie Thistle 0

Huntly and Buckie shared the spoils with a 0-0 draw. The
best chance came the way of Huntly, the Buckie keeper let a pass back go by him
but was relived to see the ball hit post.

Inverurie Locos 3 – Fort William 0

Neil Gauld set up Jordan Leyden to score in the third minute
to give Inverurie the dream start at home to Fort William. Gauld got himself on
the score sheet in the 8th minute rounding the keeper to net. Gauld
completed the scoring in 33rd minute when he netted from a tight
angle.

Rothes 0 – Brora Rangers 4

Brora took the lead away to Rothes in the 39th
minute when Steven Ross netted from 15 yards. Andrew Greig added a second
moments later when he headed home from 3 yards. Steven Mackay made it three in
the 71st minute before Greig added his second 30 seconds later to
complete the scoring.

Strathspey Thistle 1 – Forres Mechanics 2

Forres took the lead away to Strathspey Thistle in the 73rd
minute when Lee Fraser was well placed to net. Fraser added a second in the 89th
minute before Matteusz Bobrowksi netted in stoppage time, the jags nearly
equalised but Connor Aubrey saw his effort saved.

Turriff United 1 – Cove Rangers 0

Turriff secured a one goal victory over raining champions
Cove when former Cove player Jamie Beagrie netted in the 72nd minute
when he smashed the ball home from a corner.
