Mid-week fixtures – Clach win their 6th game on the bounce


Clachnacuddin 4 – Fort William 0

Clach took the lead at home to Fort William when Martin
Laing's shot was fumbled by the keeper and found the back of the net. Martin
Callum made it 2-0 just before half-time with a curling effort. Paul Brindle
added a third on the stroke of half-time before Struan Scott-Woodhouse
completed the scoring with 19 minutes remaining.

Buckie Thistle 0 – Brora Rangers 5

Brora took the lead away to Buckie in the 20th
minute when Colin Williamson reacted first to net with an acrobatic effort.
Zander Sutherland made it 2-0 when he got on the end of a pass from Steven Ross
to net. Ross then netted after being set up by Sutherland to make it number 3.
Steven Mackay made it four when he got on the end of a cross from Andrew Greig
before Ross added his second and Brora's fifth to round off the scoring.

Formartine United 3 – Turriff United 0

Daniel Park gave Formartine the lead at home to Turriff when
he netted with a spectacular free-kick from 25 yards. Neil McVitie made it 2-0
on the half hour when he got on the end of a rebound to net. Daniel Park turned
provider for the third and final goal when he squared for Michael Ewen to net.

Deveronvale 0 – Nairn County 1

Deveronvale against Nairn was a game of two penalties, one
scored and one missed. Deveronvale missed theirs when Graeme Rodger hit the bar
and Nairn scored theirs with Conor Gethins netting what turned out to be the
only goal of the game.

Cove Rangers 7 – Keith 1

Stuart Walker gave Cove the lead at home to Keith when
flicked the ball into the net from a free-kick. Cove doubled their advantage
just before half-time when Bruce Milne put the ball into his own goal. Jamie
Lennox added a third from the spot four minutes into the second half but just
second later Keith pulled done back when Stuart Walker scored an own goal. The
home side restored their three goal lead when Lennox added his second. Cove went
on to add three late goals through Connor Scully, Chris Clark and Clark Bain to
make the final score 7-1.

Inverurie Locos 2 – Fraserburgh 1

Inverurie faced visitors Fraserburgh and the Locos ran out
2-1 winners thanks to two sublime efforts by Neil McLean. All of the goals in this
game came in the second half with the Locos looking well in control from
McLean's two great goals, but Willie West pulled one back with 10 minutes of
the game and despite pressing for more they couldn't add to their tally. The
result keeps the Locos in 3rd spot in the table.
