Brora hit Keith for nine – Nairn suffer title set-back


Brora Rangers 9 – Keith 0

Brora were the big hitters of the day scoring nine without
reply at home to Keith who had their keeper sent off early on. Brora took the
lead in the 14th minute when Zander Sutherland netted from the spot,
two minutes later Steven Mackay added a second, Mark Wood scored an own goal
for the third before Mackay and Martin Maclean made it 5-0 before half-time.
Andrew Greig made it 6 just after half-time, Greig added his second on the hour
mark before Mackay added his third and fourth to complete the scoring.

Buckie Thistle 3 – Strathspey Thistle 0

In the battle of the jags it was Buckie who came out on top
at home to Strathspey. Buckie took the lead in the 10th minute when
Aaron Conway netted from the spot, the same player doubled the advantage on the
hour mark netting from 18 yards after a powerful run. Neil Davidson made sure
of the points in the 82nd minute when netted from 3 yards out.

Clachnacuddin 1 – Turriff United 0

Clach secured their fourth win in a row with a narrow 1-0
win at home to Turriff. Clach had the best chance of the first half when Neil
MacDonald headed against the bar but the winner came in the 72nd
minute when Martin Callum headed home from a corner.

Fraserburgh 0 – Inverurie Locos 2

Inverurie secured an impressive win away to Fraserburgh,
Fraserburgh had the better of the first half in windy conditions but it was
Inverurie who took the lead from the penalty spot in the 71st minute
when Dean Donaldson sent the keeper the wrong way. The same player completed
the scoring in the 80th minute when he side footed Jordan Leydon's
cross home.

Huntly 6 – Rothes 0

Manager less Huntly scored six without reply at home to
Rothes. Andrzej Kleczkowski opened the scoring in the 24th minute
with a flying header. David Booth added a second in the 48th minute
when he turned his marker to net. Kleczkowski added his second with a low shot
before he completed his hat-trick in the 72nd minute, Marek Madle
made it five before 16 year old Thomas Johnston completed the scoring.

Lossiemouth 1 – Forres Mechanics 1

Lossiemouth and Forres shared the points in the Moray derby
at Grant Park. Forres took the lead in the 17th minute when Stuart
Soane created space for himself before netting. Two minutes after half-time
Jordan McBain netted for Lossiemouth to ensure the coasters grabbed a point.

Nairn County 1 – Deveronvale 1

Nairn and Deveronvale shared the pints at Station Park with
Nairn having the better first half chances. Deveronvale took the lead in the 65th
minute when Graeme Rodger flashed a drive past the Nairn keeper. Nairn levelled
in the 78th minute when a long throw found John Cameron and he
netted to ensure a share of the points for the home side.

The games between Wick Academy and Formartine and Cove
Rangers and Fort William were postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
