Academy open the scoring but Cove claim the three points


Cove
Rangers 5 – Wick Academy 2

Academy
took the lead away to Cove in the 10th minute when Gary Weir rounded
the keeper to net. Jonny Smith got Cove back on level terms in the 18th
minute before Jamie Lennox was on hand to tap home. Lennox added a third in the
35th minute with a header. Ross Allan got one back for wick in the
47th minute with a cross-cum shot. Ryan Stott added a fourth before
the same player completed the scoring with a shot that deflected off Grant
Steve.

Inverurie Locos 1 – Clachnacuddin 2
Inverurie
were undefeated for four months but lost out to Clach who dented the Loco's
title bid with an early and late goal to seal the points. Michael Finnis had
Clach ahead inside a minute when his shot was deflected past the keeper, the
home side were level in the 12th minute when Neil Gauld hooked the
ball home. Clach scored in the winner in the 86th minute when Neil
McDonald drew the keeper before squaring to Martin Laing to tap home.

Deveronvale
2 – Formartine United 1

Formartine
lost the top spot in the league as they lost to Deveronvale. Craig Cowie gave
Deveronvale the lead when he headed from a corner in the 24th
minute. Within a minute Formartine were level when Cammy Keith collected a pass
before netting. Deveronvale scored what turned out to be the winning goal eight
minutes before half-time. Colin Charlesworth set up Craig Simpson to round the
keeper and slot home.

Lossiemouth 0 – Brora Rangers 3
Brora
moved joint top with Nairn when they defeated Lossiemouth. Martin Maclean gave
Brora the lead in the 24th minute before Zander Sutherland doubled
their lead just before the hour. Steven Mackay completed the scoring in the 79th
minute.

Keith
1 – Nairn County 8

Craig
MacAskill gave Keith the lead at home to Nairn in the second minute but their
lead did not last as Robbie Duncanson equalised in the 19th minute.
Archie MacPhee put Nairn in front in the 37th minute. Daniel Moore
added a third a minute after half-time before the same player made it four with
a free-kick. Gregg Main made it 5-1 with a screamer before Alan Pollock scored
on his debut, Adam Naismith made it 7 before Jack Cameron completed the
scoring.

Fort
William 3 – Buckie Thistle 3

It
was goalless in the first half between Fort William and Buckie but the home
side took the lead in the 49th minute when Darren Quigg netted from
the spot. Andy Low equalised for Buckie when he nodded home. Fort retook the
lead in the 71st minute when Andy Martin netted with a spectacular
strike from 40 yards. Buckie were level just a minute later when Iain MacRae
scored a header but Low put Buckie in the lead for the first time with a low
free-kick, Martin netted in stoppage time to earn a draw for Fort William.

Forres
Mechanics 1 – Fraserburgh 3

Forres
took the lead at home to Fraserburgh in the 3rd minute when Graham
Fraser netted. John Chalmers equalised for the Broch in the 50th
minute before an own goal from Steven Fraser put the Broch in the lead. Scott
Barbour added a third for the Broch in stoppage time to maintain the Broch's
100% start to 2014.

Turriff
United 3 – Rothes 0

Stuart
Cumming gave Turriff the lead just before half-time at home to Rothes when he
tucked the ball home. Turriff added a second in the 66th minute when
Andy MacAskill's shot deflected off Aaron Shand to wrong foot the keeper. Nick
Gray completed the scoring when netted with a header with 14 minutes remaining.

Strathspey Thistle P – Huntly P
The
game between Strathspey Thistle and Huntly was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
