Academy got themselves right back into the game 4 minutes
later. James Pickles picked the ball up 20 yards from the Broch goal and passed
to Gary Manson. He whipped in a great cross for Lukasz Geruzel to head home
inside keeper Paul Leask's left hand post from 8 yards out, his 7th
goal of the season.

Bad news for the Scorries a few minutes later. Craig Shearer
went up for a header and landed awkwardly. He twisted his ankle in the process and
is stretchered off, replaced by Gary Weir.

well-worked corner. Richard Macadie took it short to Sam Mackay who came out
for it. He returned the ball to Macadie to lay-off for Ross Allan who took it
on the run and he rifled a 25 yard shot that looked goal-bound but keeper Leask
went air-born and made a fantastic save turning the ball around his right hand

With 66 minutes gone referee Graham Beaton booked Michael
Steven. It was his second of the game and the red followed to put Academy down
to 10 men.
Despite the set-back Academy level the scores. They are
awarded a free-kick 25 yards from goal that Sam Mackay struck low inside the keeper's
right hand post.

8 minutes from full-time Fraserburgh have a great chance to
regain the lead. Peter Bruce is through on goal and he got his shot off from 14
yards out, but Grant Steven got back to him and with an out-stretched leg he made
a fantastic defensive block.
Deep into extra-time heart-break for
Academy. Fraserburgh fired a free kick deep to the back post. It was headed down
and bounced up in the penalty area for Russell McBride to jump the highest and
he headed home past Gray.
