Academy win a free kick that is taken by Richard Macadie and
cleared out by the Clach defence to Stevie Cunningham who floated it to the
back post but Alan Farquhar just failed to make contact and it went out for a
bye-kick.

The Scorries create another chance when Davie Allan chipped
the ball into the box to Weir who was unmarked 12 yards out but he couldn't get
a clean contact and Clach cleared the danger.

In the 22nd minute Stevie Cunningham conceded a
free-kick about 25 yards from the Academy goal. Sean Ellis took it and his
effort smacked off Gray's cross-bar and out for a goal-kick.

Academy squared the scores in the 23rd minute. A
good interchange of passes between Stevie Cunningham and Richard Macadie saw
Macadie with some space and he fired a low left foot shot across the face of
keeper Campbell and into the bottom right hand corner.

1 – 1

It's all action and Cunningham concede another free-kick 25
yards from goal. Ellis again lined it up but this time fired straight to Gray
who had an easy catch.

2 minutes from half-time Weir was played in behind the Clach
defence down the inside left and he drove in on goal. Keeper Campbell came out
and narrowed the angle and managed to block Weir's shot with his feet.

Clach create the first chance of the second half after 4
minutes. Paul Brindle drove down the left flank and crossed into the box and it
was partially cleared but only as far as Brian Macleod and he smashed a left
foot shot on target that Gray got both hands to and turned it away for a
corner.

It's end to end stuff and Blair Lawrie broke down the right  and delivered into the box for Brindle but he
sliced his shot wide of target.

Just before the hour mark Academy took the lead. Gary Manson
played a long ball up-field. Weir tried to collect but missed it and the ball
ran on for Davie Allan who went one-on-one with keeper Campbell and he kept his
cool to drill home into the bottom corner of the net.

1 – 2

The last period of the game saw both sides making their
quota of three substitutions. Macadie is played in by Davie Allan and he squared
up to keeper Campbell but couldn't direct his shot on target, and minutes later
Campbell pulled off another good save from a Davie Allan attempt.

20 minutes from full-time and Gary Weir just can't stop scoring.
Substitute Ross Allan won the ball on the left and crossed a low ball into the
box to the front post. Weir was sharp and got to the ball before his marker and
side-footed high into the roof of the net.

1 – 3

Manson fired a left foot shot from the edge of the box just
past the post before 3 minute from full time Academy put the win well beyond
doubt. Macadie rifled a shot towards goal and substitute Lukasz Geruzel got his head
to it and it flew into the net.
