Academy battle for a well-earned point at Huntly

Huntly 2 – Wick Academy 2
Huntly and Wick Academy shared the points at Christie Park but it was the Scorries who opened the scoring after six minutes when Richard Macadie netted. Three minutes later and Hrvoje Kovacevic had Huntly on level terms. Huntly took the lead in the 39th minute when David Booth netted from the penalty spot. Lukasz Geruzel missed a second half penalty before Davie Allan grabbed the equaliser eight minutes from the end.Turriff United 3 – Clachnacuddin 2. Turriff beat Clach by the odd goal in five and opened the scoring in the 39th minute when Aaron Shand calmly slotted past the keeper. Just before half time Clach equalised when Colin Williamson curled the ball home. Gary McGowan put Turriff back in front in the 67th minute with a low drive. Clach once again drew level when Kyle Whyte took the ball past a defender before netting. Turriff grabbed the winning goal right at the death when Cammy Bowden headed the ball home from a cross.

Rothes 2 – Strathspey Thistle 0
Rothes grabbed their second victory of the season at home to Strathspey Thistle, a result which moves them above Strathspey in the table. The home side took the lead five minutes before half time when Liam Forbes was on hand to volley the ball past the keeper. Sean McIntosh made sure of the pints in second half stoppage time when he netted inside the six yard box.Deveronvale 1 – Fraserburgh 0. Deveronvale beat rivals Fraserburgh thanks to a Martin Charlesworth goal just after the second half restart. Broch defender Bryan Hay was short with his back pass to the keeper which allowed Charlesworth to nip in to score the only goal of the game.

Keith 5 – Lossiemouth 2
Jon Smith scored a hat-trick for Keith as they went nap at home to Lossiemouth. Calum dingwall opened the scoring in the 29th minute getting on the end of a pass from Smith. Five minutes before half time and Smith scored his first goal with a 15 yard rocket. Dingwall added a third after 50 minutes with a header. Smith added his second on the hour mark when he was on hand to net from a Mark Wood cross. Smith completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute with a controlled drive. Lossiemouth scored two late consolations; the first came in the 85th minute when Kevin Fleet netted and Grant Mitchell then scored with a header in the last minute.

Nairn County 0 – Brora Rangers 3
Brora overcame Nairn in the North of Scotland cup in Inverness with a convincing win. Brora were in dreamland after 70 seconds when Zander Sutherland tapped home in the six yard box. It was 2-0 just after the 15 minute mark thanks to a goal from veteran Richie Hart. Martin Maclean made sure that the cup was going up the A9 when he controlled a Hart pass before firing past the keeper.Formartine United 3 – Inverurie Locos 2. In the Aberdeenshire cup final Formartine were 2-0 down at half time to Inverurie but came back to win 3-2. Locos took the lead in the 20th minute when Martin Bavidge took a touch to take the ball away from a defender before netting. It was 2-0 to the Locos after 33 minutes when Andy Hunter chipped the ball over the keeper. Four minutes after the restart and Formartine pulled a goal back, a Cammy Keith cross was partially cleared and Neil McVitie was on hand to fire home. Formartine levelled the scores with eight minutes left; Craig McKeown's drive was helped into the net by the keeper. Michael Ewen scored the winner in the first minute of stoppage time when he netted with a header.

 
Annan Athletic 4 – Buckie Thistle 0
Buckie were in Scottish Cup replay action away to Annan but the league two side proved too strong for the jags winning 4-0. Ally Love scored the first after 13 minutes and it was 2-0 after 36 minutes when Matt Flynn netted. Flynn netted a second and Annan's third on the stroke of half time before Kenneth Mackay netted in the final minute to complete the scoring.
