Forres break Scorries 2 year unbeaten home league record
Wick Academy 0 – Forres Mechanics 1
Forres Mechanics became the first side in over two years to win a league game at Harmsworth Park thanks to a first half goal from Stuart Soane. Academy had the better of the chances with Davie Allan forcing a couple of good saves from keeper Stuart Knight. Sam Mackay went close with a lob before Soane scored in the 28th minute, Academy failed to clear their lines and Soane was on hand to volley home. In the second half Academy had the better of the chances but Forres held on to claim the three points.

Huntly 1 – Formartine United 4
Formartine maintained their 100% start to the season with a win away at Huntly, Formartine opened the scoring in the first minute thanks to Ross Campbell, a short corner was played into the box and Campbell was on hand to fire past the keeper through a ruck of bodies. Michael Ewen added a second just before half time when he met a Cammy Keith flick-on at the back post. Huntly got back into the game in the 56th minute when Andrzej Kleczkowski set up Pawel Nowacki who drilled the ball home. Formartine restored their two goal cushion with a route one goal, Andy Shearer's long punt found Ewen who fired in off the post. Cammy Keith rounded off the scoring with ten minutes to go when he fired home after picking up a slack Michael Hart pass.

Strathspey Thistle 1 – Buckie Thistle 2
In the battle of the Jags in Grantown it was Buckie who came out on top against Strathspey. Aaron Conway gave Buckie the lead after 36 minutes and it was 2-0 in the 62nd minute when Craig MacMillan scored with a close range header. Strathspey pulled a goal back with nine minutes remaining when young Nick Stein scored his first goal for Strathspey.
Clachnacuddin 8 – Rothes 1
Clach were the biggest winners of the day hitting Rothes for 8 in Inverness. Clach took the lead in 9th minute when Scott Graham scored with a composed finish. Paul Brindle added a second goal in the 23rd minute with a shot off the post. Eight minutes after the break Andrew Skinner added a third with a 30 yard screamer. Kyle Scott added a fourth before Rothes pulled a goal back when Liam Forbes scored with a header. Brindle restored Clach's four goal advantage with a header. Gordon Morrison added a 6th with a diving header before Brindle completed his hat-trick with a composed finish and then the same player scored from close range to score his fourth and Clach's 8th.

Lossiemouth went nap at home to Fort William but they had to do it the hard way coming from behind. Fort opened the scoring in the 25th minute when Iain MacLellan netted. Four minutes later and it was all square. Willie Mathers netted with a powerful shot and then Jamie McKinnon added a second. McKinnon added his second and Lossie's third before Scott Miller tapped home the fourth on the hour mark. Kevin Flett got on the end of a fine passing moving to complete the scoring in the 71st minute.

It was a good day for Highland League clubs who were involved in Scottish Cup replays with 3 out of 4 sides progressing.
Cove Rangers 0 – Brora Rangers 3
Brora took the lead when Andrew Grieg was fouled by Eric Watson in the box and Zander Sutherland tucked home the resultant penalty. Things were made harder for Cove in the second half when Watson was shown his second yellow. Brora took full advantage of this and Martin Maclean set up Steven Mackay to fire home from 22 yards. Maclean got himself on the score sheet to complete the scoring to give Brora the 3-0 win.

The first came when West dispossessed Graeme Donaldson on the half way line to run through on goal and he rounded the keeper before rolling the ball into the empty net. West added a second 15 minutes from time to kill off the capital sides chances of progressing. A corner found West in the 6 yard box and his initial header was saved but he pounced on the rebound quickest to net and secure a tie against Montrose in the third round.

Deveronvale recorded an impressive win in their replay against Linlithgow Rose. It didn't look good for the Vale when Callum Smith netted in the fourth minute but Craig Cowie got the Vale back into it in the 26th minute when he netted an overhead kick after Graeme Watt's shot was blocked. Vale took the lead in the 75th minute from their first corner of the game; Scott Fraser got his head to the ball to guide it past the keeper. Martin Charlesworth added a third for the Vale seven minutes from time, his penalty kick was saved but he was on hand to tuck home the rebound.
