 Wick Academy 3 – Fraserburgh 0

Wick Academy maintained their 100% start to the season with a
home win against Fraserburgh. Fraserburgh started the brighter but the Scorries
took the lead against the run of play on 14 minutes. Gary Weir cut the ball
back to Richard Macadie to slot home. Macadie added a second from the penalty
spot after Weir was brought down by the Broch keeper Paul Leask. Davie Allan
added the third and final goal latching onto a Macadie pass and firing past the
advancing keeper.

Brora Rangers 1 – Buckie Thistle 0

Brora Rangers continued their fine start to the season with
a 1-0 win at home to Buckie. Brora started on top and nearly took the lead
after three minutes but Kevin Main kept out Andrew Greig's shot. Greig then
provided the assist for the one and only goal. His cross from the left found
former Jag Zander Sutherland and his header across goal found the back of the
net.

Forres Mechanics 1 – Huntly 1

Huntly secured a point away to Forres Mechanics to pick up
their second successive away draw. They took the lead after thirty four minutes
when a Craig Dorrat cross found Pawel Nowacki and he powered a header into the
top corner. Forres equalised right on half-time thanks to Simon Allan free-kick
that the keeper allowed to slip under him and into the net. Forres thought they
had won it in the second half but Scott Moore's effort was ruled offside.

Inverurie Locos 4 – Turriff United 3

Inverurie and Turriff served up a seven goal thriller with
the home side coming out on top fours goals to three. Mike McKenzie gave
Turriff the perfect start with an early penalty. The lead did not last long as
Neil Gauld poked the ball home from Dean Donaldson's cut back. Mike McKenzie
was then shown a red card for clashing with Ross Anderson. This did not deter
Turriff though and they re took the lead thanks to a lofted finish from Robbie
Allan. Turriff added a third before half-time when Nick Gray rounded the
keeper. Inverurie came out in the second half and added two quick goals to
equalise. The first came when Gordon Forsyth headed home and then Donaldson
fired low into the net. Forsyth was then red carded for dissent but Andy Hunter
won it for Locos with a long range screamer. In an exciting finish Gauld had a
late penalty saved.

Cove Rangers 1 – Nairn County 2

Cove dropped two points at home to Nairn to give the Wee
County their first win of the season. Cove took the lead after ten minutes when
a Scott Webster cross found Ryan Stott and he turned quickly to fire the ball
home. Nairn equalised just after the hour mark when Connor Gethins got his head
to a Daniel Moore free-kick. Just three minutes later Nairn took the lead. Andy
Neill met a high ball on the volley and fired superbly home. Cove were given a
great chance to level the game with ten minutes to go but Stott's spot kick was
brilliantly saved by the keeper. In the aftermath of the penalty Robbie
Duncanson was shown a red card for dissent.

Fort William 0 – Formartine United 5

Formartine went nap away to Fort William to keep up their
winning start to the season. Stuart Smith gave them the lead after only five
minutes when he lashed the ball home. Smith then turned provider for Cammy
Keith who got on the end of his cross to fire home. Formartine added a third
through Daniel Park who netted with a 15-yard finish. Twenty minutes from time
Neil Mcvittie added a fourth with a close range finish. Callum Bagshaw rounded
off the scoring firing the ball under the Fort keeper.

Keith 5 – Rothes 0

Keith got their first win of the season beating Rothes five-nil.
Andy Anderson opened the scoring after only five minutes before another Andy,
this time Macaskill, fired home from 25 yards to double the score. Not long
after Calum Dingwall scored his first goal for Keith with a low drive. Dingwall
then added his second tapping home from close range. Macaskill wrapped up the
scoring in the first half with a low angled drive.

Strathspey Thistle 0 – Deveronvale 4

Deveronvale scored four without reply away to Strathspey
thistle. Craig Simpson beat two Strathy Jags defenders before firing into the
net to give Vale the lead. Vale's second goal just after the hour had a bit of
luck involved A free-kick into the box spun off the back of Scott Henry to
claim a rather unfortunate own goal. Five minutes from time Vale added a third
when Robert Morrice headed home a free-kick. Vale heaped further misery on
Strathspey when Tom Hutchison rose highest at the far post to head home a
corner.

Lossiemouth 1 – Clachnacuddin 1

Lossiemouth and Clach both got their first point of the
season thanks to score draw at Grant Park. Matthew Davidson opened the scoring
for Lossie when he collected a through ball from Callum Dunbar and he cut in
from the left and scored with a perfect finish. Clach got the leveller mid way
through the second half when a cut back found Kyle Whyte and he turned and
fired the ball into the back of the net to claim a share of the points.
