Academy were
enjoying a great spell of attacking football and they scored their 3rd
goal of the game just after the half-hour mark. Macadie split the Broch defence
with a pin-point pass and Davie Alan burst through into the box and fired the
ball low past Leask into the bottom corner of the net.

Just before half
time Fraserburgh came close to pulling one back with only the cross-bar stopping
Graham Johnston's effort.

Sam Mackay forced
Leask into two good saves at the start of the second half but Fraserburgh had
the bulk of the early possession as they pushed for a way back into the game. More
however stood resolute and dealt with everything that came his way with the
help of the Fraserburgh front-line who wasted 2 or 3 great chances to get on
the score-sheet.
Courtney Cooper
had the best of their chances when capitalised on a mistake from Shaun Sinclair
but unbelievably he blasted wide past the right hand post from only 12 yards
with an empty goal at his mercy.
The pick of Academy's
second half chances came from substitute James Pickles who hammered a sweet
strike from 35 yards that keeper Leask got a hand to tipping it over his
cross-bar for a great save.
