Wick Academy Records Tumble
The 4-1 win over Deveronvale in Academy's last game of the season has lead to a rewrite of the record-books. The result ensured that:
- It is Academy's highest ever league finish.
- We have gone the whole season unbeaten at Harmsworth Park
winning all 17 of our home games. - Our unbeaten home form in the league stretches back to October 2011, a run
of 29 league games undefeated at Harmsworth Park. - It's the first time since we joined the league that we have
scored over 100 league goals in a season. - It's been our best goals for ratio, with an average number
of goals scored per game of 2.97. - It's our lowest ever goals against ratio, with an average
goals conceded per game of only 1.41. - It's our best ever goal difference of +53.
- We kept our highest number of clean sheets in league games in a season, 12 in total. The previous best was 6.
