On 35 minutes Academy score again. Weir won the ball and
drove into the box, had a few of his trade-mark step-overs and fired a shot that
was parried out by Keeper Kinnaird, but Macadie followed in and headed the ball
home into the open net from 6 yards out.

0 – 4

Bad news minutes later as Geruzel is taken off with what
looks like a groin strain. He is replaced by Ross Allan who goes wide on the right,
and Weir goes up front.

Academy have the last chance of the half when Macadie,
Sinclair and Ross Allan have a great series of interchanging passes up the
right flank before Macadie slid Ross Allan in behind the Keith defence. He
screamed into the box and tried to cut the ball back but the danger was cleared
by the Keith defence.

Half Time – Keith 0 – WAFC 4

Academy start the second half where they left off again
pressurising the Keith defensive back line. Davie Allan worked the ball to the edge of the
box before cutting it back to his brother Ross. His shot was deflected for a
corner. The corner was floated in and an effort from Weir was also cleared for
another corner, which Keith cleared down-field.

On 52 minutes Academy go down to 10 men. Ross Allan looked
to be clipped and retaliated. Referee Ryan Milne reached for his pocket and
flashed him a straight red card.

Despite being down to 10 men the Scorries go nap in the 52nd
minute.  Academy won a corner on the left
that is delivered into the box by Macadie. Michael Steven rose the highest, got
a free header and powered it home.

0 – 5

Straight from the re-start Craig Phillips punted a long ball
up-field to Cammy Keith. He floated a dangerous ball to the back post but
Academy dealt with it and cleared the danger for a corner. Sean Keith took the
corner and fired it to the back post.
Jonathan Smith laid it back to Andrew MacAskill who side-stepped a challenge
but he drove his effort high and wide of target.

Academy miss a great chance to score again. Weir drove down
the flank, chipped the ball over the top of Kristopher Niddrie, got to the bye
line and flashed a cross across the face of goal that Macadie was inches away
from turning in.

Keith broke and Sean Keith flew up the right wing before
cutting in and whistled a shot across goal and just wide of More's left hand
post.

You wouldn't believe Academy have a man short, and they
score again 20 minutes before full-time. The ball is worked from right to left
from a throw-in to Macadie. He laid it off to Davie Allan who cut inside, made himself
some space and from 20 yards out drove a right foot low shot inside the
Kinnaird's right hand post.

0 – 6

Academy are not finished and in the 77th minute
Weir and Macadie played a neat 1-2 on the right flank and Macadie is into the
box but he fired over the cross-bar under pressure from his defender.

Davie Allan has run his heart out, and is replaced by
Manager Barry Wilson.

9 minutes from full time and Keith  are pressing for a consolation goal. MacAskill
slide the ball to Stuart Hutcheon who fire a low cross into the box that
Joanathan  Smith hit on the half-volley
but Grant Steven did just enough to force Smith to shoot wide of goal.

3 minutes later and More is forced into his first real save
of the game. Smith got the better of Wilson up the right and had a shot on
target that More beat away for a corner. The corner was delivered to the back
post area and was whipped back across goal for Smith to head home. More did get
a hand to the ball but couldn't keep it out.

1 – 6

In the final attempt of the game Phillips provide a cross to
the far post for Cammy keith but he headed straight into the hands of More who
made a comfortable catch.

Full Time – Keith 1 – Wick Academy 6

So a great way to bounce back following the mid-week disappointment.
The result is Academy's biggest ever win at Kynock park and with Formartine not
in action today our lead at the top of the table goes back to 5 points.
