Nairn County jumped up two places to third in the
Highland League table after a 9-0 hammering of Fort William at Claggan Park on
Wednesday night.
Steven Mackay helped himself to four of the goals,
including a penalty, and Robbie Duncanson hit a double. The others came from
David Watson, Paul Macleod and Steven Ellis.
The result allowed Nairn to move above Inverurie and
Buckie.
The return of wintry weather led to the postponement
of Strathspey Thistle v Clach, the only other fixture scheduled for midweek.
