The home side pull themselves straight back into the game 5
minutes later. They knock the ball up-field from a free kick. Davie McKenzie
knocked it into the box and Alan Farquhar was deemed to have pushed over Ryan
Cowie and referee Milne pointed to the spot. Jerry O'Driscoll sent Gray diving
to his right, and hammered the ball down the middle.

1 – 2

Dave MacKenzie come close to levelling the scores when he
fired in a scorching 25 yard shot, but Gray got a hand to it to make a smart
save, turning it round his right hand post for a corner kick.

The home side are piling on the pressure, but a good passing
move from Macadie and Davie Allan has the Scorries driving forward but
Cunningham fired his attempt from 30 yards out over the cross-bar.

Turra break up-field and O'Driscoll races through on goal
one-on-one with Gray, but Gray charged out and made a great save to block O'Driscolls
goal-bound shot.

The home side keep on the pressure and 10 minutes before the
half time break it eventually pays off as they square the scores. The ball is
played wide and fired in for Richie Ligetwood to rise at the back post and he headed
the ball into the top right hand corner from 10 yards out.

2 – 2

Academy have the hold of the ball again, but Turr still have
the bulk of the possession.

Mark Simpson picks up the first booking of the game with a
minute of the first half played as he cut the legs from under Davie Allan about
25 yards from goal. Sam Mackay fired in the free-kick and keeper Coutts tried
to punch the ball clear, but flapped at it and Joe Steven headed home.

2 – 3

Half Time 2 – 3

The home side continue to pressure. Gray makes a good save
from Stephen Gauld, and O'Driscoll blazed over the top from the edge of the
box.

The pressure again pays off when Turra win a corner. That is
floated in by Gauld and Gray tried to get to the ball but is crowded out in a
packed penalty area. The ball fell nicely to Mark Simpson and he pocked it home
from close range.

3 – 3

Academy attack up the right flank as Macadie drove forward,
but he loses the ball. It is pumped up-field up and is picked up by O'Driscoll
who skipped into the box, got around Gray and squared to Ryan Cowie, but
astonishingly with an empty net at his mercy he had a fresh air kick from the
corner of the 6 yard box and the ball trickled over the bye-line to the relief
of the Academy contingent in the crowd.

With 8 minutes left Cowie makes up for his earlier miss.
Gauld pushed down the right flank and crossed into the box. O'Driscoll got a
flick on the ball to send it past Gray and Cowie scored at the back post to
send the home fans into mass celebration.

4 – 3

The clock runs out and referee Milne blows for the end of
the game.
