Academy are playing the better football and both Sam Mackay, Gary Weir
and David Allan have had chances to put us into the lead but the score stays at
1-1.
Bad news for the home side in the 38th minute as Craig
Rothney picks up an injury and he is replaced by Terry Swinton.

4 minutes after the re-start and Academy take the lead. Gary Weir knocked a long ball down to Sam
Mackay who collected the ball inside the Strathspey box, twisted his way past two
defenders and curled a shot past keeper Klarklins into the corner of the net.

Academy are forced to make change. Gary Manson comes off
injured and is replaced by Michael Steven.
Just past the hour Academy come close again when Richard Macadie swung a cross into the Jags box. Gary Weir got his head to the ball but the ball smacked off the post.
Academy give themselves a 2 goal cushion. Sam Mackay went
round the keeper Klarklins with the ball at his feet and Klarklins takes him
down. Referee Sim points to the spot and Sam takes the penalty, slotting a right foot shot into the left hand side of the net.
With 10 minutes to go Academy go down to 10 men. Michael
Steven is involved in an off the ball incident and he gets his marching orders
from referee Sim.
Weir had a great chance just before full time to grab another for the visitors. Sam Mackay picked him out with a super crossed ball and Weir is unmarked and gets a free header but he sent it wide of target from 6 yards out.
The final action of the game saw Bokas make a great stop as he tipped a Fraser Tulloch strike onto the crossbar.
