Message of Thanks From Zeeky
On behalf of myself and my wife Lorna I would like to
take this opportunity to thank everyone involved with Wick Academy FC once
again for the very nice Glassware gift and flowers given to us at the Club's
recent "End of Season Awards Night" in the Seaforth Highlanders Club, this was
totally unexpected but very much appreciated by us both!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wick Academy FC
which goes back a lot of years as a player, Coach and latterly as a Co Manager,
therefore resigning along with Co Manager Richard Hughes was one of the hardest
decisions I've ever had to make but I felt it was the right thing to do at the
time and in the best interests of the Club.
I've had a long involvement with Wick Academy FC and I
would like to think I can remain involved with the club in some sort of
capacity, however that is a decision for the Committee to make.
In the mean time I'm just enjoying some quality time with
my wife and family and we will see what happens after that for Ian Munro!
One things for sure I will be at the Harmsworth Park on a
Saturday supporting my team Wick Academy FC along with all the other Scorrie
Supporters.
Finally, I have to say the Club have made an excellent
Managerial appointment in Davie Kirkwood; who comes to the club with a wealth
of experience both as a player and coach at the highest level in Scottish
Football and this can only be good for the development of the players and the
club as a whole.
I'd like to take the opportunity to wish the new Manager
Davie Kirkwood and his new background staff, Players, Committee and the loyal
Scorrie Supporters all the best for the coming season and for the seasons after
that.
Thanks Again
Ian Munro
