Wick Academy FC received a 60% grant award from the Scottish
Partnership for installing new floodlights at the Harmsworth Park.
The installation contract was competitively tendered and was
awarded to The Highland Council Lighting Department.
The installation work started about 6 weeks ago and at
midnight on Thursday night the 30th June they were turned on and
tested.
The pictures below show the Highland Council fitting the
floodlights, and there are also a few shots of them whilst turned on for
testing.
