In the early hours of Monday morning the 17th Jan 2011 the
number of web site hits topped 3m. The site went live in July 2005 so this
represents an average user hit rate of about 45,500 per month, or 1,500 hits
per day. There are now 886 individual news items posted on the site as well as
player stats and a history of all Academy games played. We started publishing
match reports when we went live in 2005, and haven't had a game yet since then that we haven't
managed at least a brief match over-view of the game.
Hopefully we can continue and provide as much coverage of
Academy as we can. Here's to the next 5
years and hopefully soon we can be reporting on a title chase by the boys, or a
Cup victory.
