38 minutes gone
and Academy are still playing really well. Macadie cut the ball across
the box and
caught the keeper Hastie napping at his near post. Weir screamed in and
had an
empty net to knock it home but a Huntly defender got a toe to the ball
and
turned it around the post for a corner. Astonishingly the referee gave a
free-kick against Weir and he then got booked for protesting.
Half Time 0 – 2
Huntly make
a double substitution at the start of the second half. Michael Ewen and
Richie
Taylor come off and are replaced with Andrzej Kleczkowski and Neil Reid.
With 7 minutes of the second half played Huntly get themselves right
back into the games. Myles Brownhill
is slotted in on goal. He made himself some space by srugging off the
Academy defence and fired home low past Bokas.

With an hour gone Huntly make their final change, Stuart Soane coming on
for Michael McGinlay.
Wick are
under a lot of pressure with Huntly really having a go at them. Acdemy
make a
change to try and see the game out, David Allan going off for Stevie
Cunningham.
The Huntly
pressure pays off and they level the scores. They win a corner that is
fired
in. Academy fail to clear the ball. Huntly get it goal-bound and Bokas
makes a
save but it comes back to substitute Soane
and he headed the ball into the top
left hand corner.

Huntly take
the lead with 77 minutes played. A stramash in the Academy box and Redford managed to get a foot to the
ball to shoot through
a ruck of players to beat Bokas.
3 – 2
Substitute Ross Allan comes close with a header which flashes past the
post, but Huntly have been the better side in the second half and run
out winners to avenge last weekends defeat.
