Rothes double their lead in the 31st minute.
Milne stole the ball from Ross and drove to the bye-line before crossing into
the Academy box where Macrae was waiting at the back post to side-foot home
from 4 yards out.

book in the 36th minute after a coming together and a ‘bit of afters'.
With 3 minutes to go Rothes go down to 10 men, when Grant
Milne picks up a second yellow card from referee Mackay for an off-the ball
incident.
Right on the stroke of half-time Academy pull a goal back. Manson
and Alan Sinclair played a one-two in the middle of the park to start the move
off before Manson squared back
to Sinclair for him to drive the ball across the middle of the Rothes box and
Weir was on-hand to side-foot home his 10th league goal of the season from 6 yards.

Just on the hour mark Academy make their first change with Gary Faquhar coming on for Bryan McKiddie.
With 63 minutes played Rothes have another player sent off,
when referee Mackay flashed a straight red card to Michael Grant for tackling
Richard Macadie with his studs up.
With 20 minutes left Aademy make their second substitution Murray Coghill coming on for Andrew MacLeod.
With 72 minutes on the clock Gary Weir grabs his second of
the game and pulls the Scorries level. Keeper Dunn went down to collect Weir's speculative 25 yards
shot on goal and the ball went straight through both his arms and legs and into the
net.

In the 76 minute Rothes are awarded a penalty kick after
Shaun Sinclair took down substitute Kenny Hendry who had only been on the park
for 2 minutes. Hendry took the spot-kick and More made a fantastic diving save
to palm the ball away.
In the 90th minute Martin Gunn almost won the
game for the Scorries with a 20 yard shot, but keeper Dunn pulled off a great
save to deny him.
